Poker Legend Chip Reese Dead
Dec 4th, 2007 by Mark Scalia
In unfortunate news, poker legend David “Chip” Reese died last night in his sleep at his home in Las Vegas. Details of his death are still unknown but it is believed that Reese called his doctor around 10pm on Monday complaining of pneumonia syptoms but never went to the hospital and passed away in his sleep.
Reese, the three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner, was probably best known for winning the inaugural $50,000 buy-inĀ WSOP H.O.R.S.E tournament in 2006. Those inside the poker community will remember him as one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, cash game player who ever lived…
Reese was 56.

Hi,
It is rightly said that we as inside the poker community will remember him as one of the greatest.
